How to Install Strong8K IPTV on Firestick (2026 Step-by-Step Guide)

What you need before you start

Three things: your Firestick connected to the internet, a Strong8K IPTV login (username, password and server URL, sent by email or WhatsApp after you order from the pricing page), and about five minutes. You do not need a computer, a VPN or a jailbroken device.

Step 1: Allow apps from unknown sources

Amazon does not list IPTV players in its store, so you install the player app directly. On the Firestick home screen go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If Developer Options is hidden, open About, highlight your device name and press the select button seven times to unlock it. Inside Developer Options, turn on Apps from Unknown Sources (on newer firmware this appears per app after you install Downloader in the next step).

Step 2: Install Downloader

Go back to the home screen, open the search (magnifying glass) and type Downloader. Install the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews. Open it once and allow the permissions it asks for.

Step 3: Install an IPTV player

Strong8K IPTV works with any Xtream Codes or M3U player. On Firestick we recommend one of these two:

• IPTV Smarters Pro – the simplest option. Clean layout, works with Xtream login, good EPG.
• TiviMate – the best-looking guide and the fastest channel switching. The free version works; the premium version adds multiple playlists and recording.

Inside Downloader, type the download link for the player you chose (our support team sends you the current link with your login so you never install an outdated version). Wait for the APK to download, press Install, then Open.

Step 4: Log in with your Strong8K IPTV details

Open the player and choose Login with Xtream Codes API. Enter any name for the playlist, then your username, password and the server URL exactly as we sent them. Press Add User or Next. The app will download the channel list, movies and series. On the first load this can take 30 to 60 seconds because the Strong8K library is large; after that it is instant.

If you prefer M3U, choose Load your playlist or file/URL and paste the M3U link instead. Both methods open the same content.

Step 5: Set up the EPG (TV guide)

In IPTV Smarters Pro the guide loads automatically with the Xtream login. In TiviMate go to Settings → Playlists → your playlist → EPG and make sure the EPG URL is filled in (it is included in the Xtream login). Set the time offset to your own time zone if programme times look shifted.

Fix buffering on Firestick in 60 seconds

Nine times out of ten, buffering on a Firestick is not the server, it is the device. Do these in order:

1. Restart the Firestick (Settings → My Fire TV → Restart). Fire OS keeps apps in memory and a stick that has been on for weeks will stutter.
2. Use the 4K stick or an Ethernet adapter for 4K channels. A 4K stream needs around 25 Mbps sustained. The original 1080p stick over crowded Wi-Fi will not always hold that. The Amazon Ethernet adapter costs very little and removes the Wi-Fi variable completely.
3. Clear the player cache. Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → your player → Clear cache.
4. Change the decoder. In IPTV Smarters Pro: Settings → Player Settings → Live TV decoder → try Hardware, then Software. Some Firestick models decode better with one or the other.
